Dock Icons

The GuardedID dock icon serves as a status indicator of the current operational state of GuardedID. Descriptions of the possible operational states of GuardedID are listed below:

Enabled GuardedID is currently activated and enabled.

Disabled GuardedID is currently disabled.

Unavailable GuardedID's keystroke encryption protection is not available for the password field you are typing in.

Activation Required GuardedID is not currently activated with a valid Activation Key.



Important Note

GuardedID must be activated with a valid Activation Key before it can be enabled. If you have not already done so, activate GuardedID by following the instructions within Activation.
Non-Enhanced Mode Key-Up When GuardedID is running in non-enhanced mode (Manage > Enhanced Mode), this icon will be displayed by default when you are not typing. We recommend leaving GuardedID running in Enhanced Mode.

Non-Enhanced Mode Key-Down When GuardedID is running in enhanced mode (Manage > Enhanced Mode), this icon will be displayed every time a key is being typed to let you know that the key has been actively encrypted. We recommend leaving GuardedID running in Enhanced Mode.


Preferences Menu

You can click the GuardedID dock icon, then select Manage > Preferences to open some additional GuardedID preferences as explained below:

Enable Secured Highlight Mode This setting lets you enable/disable and customize the background highlight color which appears when you begin typing in websites in internet browsers with the "NoClickjack" extension installed.
Always Enabled This setting allows you to enable/disable GuardedID from always defaulting to Enabled when it is started.
Show all hidden frame elements This option enables/disables whether or not GuardedID will force hidden website elements to be displayed on websites you visit. Requires "NoClickjack" extension.
Show red border around frames from the other sites This option enables/disables whether or not GuardedID will display a red border around embedded website content which originated from a different website than the one you are currently visiting. Requires "NoClickjack" extension.
Show anti-Clickjack warning dialog box. This option enables/disables whether or not GuardedID will display a warning if it detects that the website you are current visiting may contain an invisible, embedded clickjack attack object. Requires "NoClickjack" extension.

Check for Updates

To check for any available GuardedID updates, click the GuardedID dock icon then select GuardedID > Check for Updates from the menu bar. If a GuardedID update is available, you will be redirected to the download link.
